Improving Australia’s relationship with Indigenous peoples

I think the next 5 to 10 years are a critical moment for Australia in its relationship with indigenous peoples.

Current talk of constitutional recognition and a treaty or treaties with indigenous peoples offers exciting opportunities to right past wrongs.

Amnesty International warned us last year, we're on the brink of losing another generation to failed government policies unless we get it right.

I guess UWA has equipped me with the skills I need to ensure I can be part of shaping the legal framework that needs to be created to help shift that relationship.
